Kotkan-Haminan seudun kehittämisyhtiö Cursor Oy otti minut lämpimästi vastaan vuonna 2021 alkaessani viettää yhä enemmän aikaa Kotkassa. Aloitimme yhteistyön vaikuttajamatkoista ja Instagramin sisällöntuotannosta, mutta se laajeni nopeasti koskemaan laajempia markkinointitarpeita. Olen kiertänyt vuosien aikana valokuvaten useita kokous- ja ravintolatiloja, Kotkan (Suomen!) kauneimpia puistoja vuoden eri väreissä, dokumentoinut tapahtumia, tehnyt tuotekuvia käsitöistä ja muista alueella myynnissä olevista tuotteista sekä valokuvannut alueella toimivia yrityksiä ja niiden palveluita Cursorin kautta. Olen niin ylpeä siitä miten paljon alueella panostetaan markkinointiin ja koen, että Kotka-Hamina on viimeisten vuosien aikana noussut yhä laajemmin ihmisten tietouteen - kiitos vuosia tehdyn kovan työn. Kotka-Hamina regional development company Cursor Oy welcomed me warmly in 2021 when I started spending more and more time in Kotka. We started the collaboration with influencer trips and Instagram content production, but it quickly expanded to cover wider marketing needs. Over the years, I have traveled around photographing several meeting and restaurant facilities, the most beautiful parks in Kotka (Finland!) in different colors of the year, documented events, made product photos of crafts and other products for sale in the area, and photographed companies operating in the area and their services through Cursor. I am so proud of how much effort is put into marketing in the region and I feel that Kotka-Hamina has become more and more widely known to people over the past few years - thanks to years of hard work.
